NORTH EAST CAFÉ TRAIL

1st October – 30th November 2026

Discover somewhere new. Support local. And you could win £500 cash.

This October and November, independent cafés across the North East of Scotland are coming together for the very first North East Café Trail.

The idea is simple – get out and explore, discover cafés you might never have visited before, enjoy some great food and drink and support independent local businesses along the way.

You have the whole of October & November to take part, so there’s no need to complete the Trail in one day. Plan a day out, visit a couple at a time or work your way around the Trail throughout October and November.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Grab your Trail leaflet
Pick up a North East Café Trail leaflet from any participating café, or download and print a copy here.

DOWNLOAD YOUR TRAIL

Your leaflet contains the Trail map and your stamp card, so remember to take it with you each time you visit a participating café.

WHY THE NORTH EAST CAFÉ TRAIL?

The North East Café Trail has been created to bring independent cafés together and encourage more people to discover what’s right here on our doorstep.

Independent hospitality businesses are facing challenging times, and the Trail is about doing something positive together – encouraging customers to travel between our towns and villages, try somewhere different and support local businesses along the way.

You might discover somewhere you’ve never been before, find a new favourite or simply have an excuse for a few great days out during October and November.

Every visit supports an independent local business – and that’s what the North East Café Trail is really about.
